Craig has a long-standing link to the TKitFitCo team having been at good friends at school with our co-founder Chris over 20 years ago. After leaving with only average grades, Craig applied to join the RAF and during a routine medical examination as part of the entry requirements, doctors found a brain tumour. Requiring immediate surgery lasting some 18 hours, Craig was left with nerve damage resulting in limb weakness and problems with his hearing and sight.

Following his passion for music, Craig attended the ACM in Guildford and paths with Chris crossed again whilst working at a local restaurant. At this time his passion for rowing took over and after attending a Paralympics Potential session in 2010 where he was seeking out the rowing coaches, Craig was spotted by the British Disabled Fencing Association as having a talent for fencing and he has been in training ever since as a full-time athlete.

Within his first international year Craig was selected to represent Great Britain at both European and World Championships and just over two years after taking up the sport he was selected for his first Paralympic Games, London 2012. Following a career best performance to end the 2012 season Craig left the sport of wheelchair fencing in order to pursue a new challenge within the world of endurance sports. This challenge sees him aiming to represent Great Britain at future games in either cycling or para-triathlon.
